Meet Jarred E. Marshak, MD

Jarred E. Marshak, MD, is a highly experienced and dedicated gastroenterologist who specializes in digestive diseases. At Long Island Gastroenterology Specialists, Dr. Marshak sees patients in three offices in North Wantagh, and South Wantagh, New York.

Dr. Marshak earned his undergraduate degree at Binghamton University in Binghamton, New York. He earned his medical degree at the American University of the Caribbean in Cupecoy, Sint Maarten, where he was a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. 

Dr. Marshak completed his internal medicine training at NYU Langone Hospital – Long Island in Mineola, New York, where he was elected chief resident. He stayed there to complete a gastroenterology, hepatology, and nutrition fellowship. 

During his fellowship training, Dr. Marshak pursued additional specialized training in liver disease and transplant hepatology. 

Dr. Marshak is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology (ACG) and American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ASGE) and a diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). 

He’s published in multiple peer-reviewed medical journals and often gives presentations at national gastroenterology conferences. 

Dr. Marshak sees patients in the office as well as the hospital, with his affiliations including Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City; NYU Langone Hospital – Long Island; Catholic Health Mercy Hospital in Rockville Centre, New York; and Mount Sinai South Nassau in Oceanside, New York. 

Dr. Marshak is a Long Island resident who is married with one child.
