Fun Facts
Dr. Rush is an active member of several gastrointestinal societies including American College of Gastroenterology, American Gastroenterological Association, and Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of America. He is a member of the New York State Troopers Police Surgeons group. Dr. Rush has been a mentor to many high school and college students interested in pursuing a career in the medical field.
In addition to being a physician, Dr. Rush is a boater and he is involved local sports including coaching his children’s teams. He was an All-State soccer player and a nominated All American. He played soccer for Emory University. Dr. Rush lives on Long Island with his wife, Hayley, and their two children.
