Carly G. Barth, MD

With a decade of experience in gastroenterology, Carly G. Barth, MD, brings superior knowledge and exemplary skills to her role as a team member at Long Island Gastroenterology Specialists.

Dr. Barth sees patients in the North Wantagh, and South Wantagh, New York, offices, where she provides expert care for all types of gastrointestinal disorders and diseases.

Dr. Carly Barth was raised in Baltimore, Maryland and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the Honors Program at the University of Maryland, College Park, Maryland. 

She then went on to receive her Doctor of Medicine from George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences (GW School of Medicine and Health Sciences) in Washington, DC . 

Dr. Barth moved to New York City to complete her Internal Medicine training at Albert Einstein-Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx, New York, and her Gastroenterology training within The Mount Sinai Health System in New York City. 

She spent most of her general Gastroenterology training at St. Luke’s, Mount Sinai West (formerly Roosevelt), and Beth Israel Hospitals.

A significant amount of her fellowship was spent at The Mount Sinai Hospital training in liver diseases, transplant hepatology, and inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD).

Dr. Barth is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology (ACG). She is affiliated with Mount Sinai Hospital, NYU Winthrop Hospital, Mercy Medical Center, and South Nassau Communities Hospital. In her free time, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband and son.
